Laguiole "Maçonnique"

Hi,

I made this folding knife Laguiole 12 cm in length of handle and 11 cm in length of blade with a black Ebony of top-quality.

The spring is massive, I engraved decorative leaves on the spring and a Masonic symbol on the bee representing the sun and the moon which give rhythm to the life of everyone and the mason. Indeed, his work begins at noon, at the height of the sun what avoids the unwanted shadows for the quality of his work (put directly above stones) may aferward the shasows woll allow him to perfect his work till midnight, maximun of the luminosity of the moon the symbolic hour of the closure of the works. These marks allow the Mason to make a hight-quality linear work. The Mason builds his life in a linear way as soon as he received the light, he is going to word from the noon to midnight and wold reachin his life the top of the wisdom and the understanding of the life.

The bee is an integral part of the spring.

You can notice the work of the double plates in accordance with the work of the spring.

The steel of the blade is Swedish sandvik 12c27 stainless steel which I finely engraved of a leaf of acanthus. The finish is shiny.

Bolsters are steel stainless finish shiny.

My knives are signed inside the spring.

I made this knife with the biggest care in the spirit and the respect for the tradition of cutlery of Laguiole with noble materials.
